Fashion for football

One thing I've learned about the south is that college football is a lifestyle, and I happen to be in UGA (University of Georgia) territory. So on game days the girls get out their red and black and make way to the stadium to cheer on the Dawgs. Two of the prettiest UGA fans happen to also be huge Oka Designs fans:)

PEARLS for a fall wedding!

What a treat to style these BEAUTIFUL bridesmaids for the classy wedding of Chanel and Jan van Reenen. They had a September wedding with maids in long black gowns holding calla lilies. It was only appropriate to accessorize these ladies with stunning pearls in different varieties to enhance each ones individual style.

I dont know what could have been more timeless than that:)

Live Music and Jewelry Too!

Another hot day in Georgia. Yesterday we set-up a booth at the Wing and Rock festival in Woodstock, GA. You can see we made some changes to the decorations by adding some fresh cut flowers and a nice scented candle. I truly believe it's "the little things" that make all the difference!Even though it was extremely hot (about 95 degrees) everyone enjoyed the day and enjoyed shopping in the nice shaded tent. The little fan also helped by creating a bit of movement in the air... I conveniently stationed myself in front of it for most of the day:)

Photo shoots and sandy beaches

Before we even launched the brand, we had the opportunity to shoot some wonderful photos on a beach in St. John. Nothing, absolutely nothing, is a better backdrop than crystal clear water, white sand, and mountains in the background.

Black agate and pyrite STUNNER!

This piece was designed to accentuate the beautiful dresses of ALAKE for the Fall 11/Winter 12 runway show held in February. Im proud to say that this beauty was worn with the final look, strutting down the runway with a subtle shimmer.
